ABOUT

Scarion emerged from the ashes of “Goats Don’t Shave,” a band formed by schoolfriends James and Nick. After the group’s dissolution, Nick briefly joined “The Blast” as a guitarist before teaming up with James, who was on drums, along with Paul Raggat on vocals and Brett Vallis on bass and Dave Grix on rhythm guitar.

The band’s live debut took place at the Irish Club, which led to a residency at Club Image and several  great gigs at the Golden Banana. However, Scarion disbanded when Nick and Paul relocated to the UK. The group reformed later, with  Chris Tuck adding a second guitar.

Following a few sessions at Universal, the band split again. James went on to work at Inhouse Records and Universal Studios, marking the end of Scarion’s second iteration.
