ABOUT

PURESATANICBLACKFUCKINGMETAL

Formed as Stygian in late 1997 by Morg (Guitars, Bass, Drums) and Longinus (Vocals, Guitars) and influenced by the 2nd wave of Norwegian Black Metal, the first two-song demo, simply entitled “Stygian”, was recorded and released in 2001, shortly after which the decision was made to change the band’s name to Nicatas Drumer.

The following year saw the release of the band’s first and only album, “Impure Grandeur”, which was distributed independently, mainly via trade with other bands around the world. In late 2002, bassist Athame and guitarist Abyssidian were recruited and in 2004, second guitarist Virus was added to the lineup as well, leaving Longinus free to focus solely on vocals and Morg to take up permanent residence on ye olde drum throne.

“3rd Offering” was recorded in 2003 as a 4 song EP but only 2 tracks were ultimately released since the band was unhappy with the production.

The band split up around 2005 and are all currently either dead or in prison.
